That's why we are dedicated to providing high-quality non-profit housing options for low-income and vulnerable populations in our community. We work tirelessly to secure funding and resources to build and renovate housing units, and we are committed to providing support services that help our residents thrive. We are passionate advocates for policies and practices that promote equity and combat homelessness.

Welcome to Kirkwood Apartments, a low-income housing community managed and made possible by Ayr and District Citizens Association. Our organization is dedicated to improving the lives of citizens in our community, and we are proud to offer high-quality, affordable housing options for those in need.
AyrBus
The AyrBus is a free bus service in Ayr, operated by volunteer drivers. The program launched in 2025 after a bus was donated by Schlegel Villages. ADCA donated $11,000 and continues to fund fuel and maintenance.

Each week features a different outing — grocery store drop-offs, local excursions, and coffee outings. It's a great opportunity to get out, explore the community, and socialize.
